The research-based Danish therapy garden Nacadia, which opened in 2011, can be viewed as a holistically oriented realization of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) broad definition health from 1948: is not just absence disease, but state both physical, mental and social well-being individuals may develop their abilities, deal with everyday challenges stress, well socialize other people. Nacadia’s raison d’être relevance are indisputable. But questions this article addresses what perception nature forest promotes diagnosis it springs reproduces. interdisciplinary research team provides no explanation, these inform my analysis. Based on concept manual itself, some literary accounts engaging nature, I two answers: First, that researchers behind Nacadia operate discourse physical-aesthetic presentation peaceful accessible place for self-immersion connection ‘something greater’.
